Citation: This award requires a learner to participate in all aspects of Wynberg Boys Junior School. The Grade 5 all-rounder for 2019 is a boy who is a true gentleman and has great leadership qualities. He is always respectful towards his teachers and peers alike. He displays great enthusiasm and dedication towards his schoolwork. His commitment and attention to detail is truly remarkable. He is always neatly dressed and makes sure that he looks presentable at all times. Academically he is amongst the learners who has achieved Academic Honours, maintaining an aggregate of 80% throughout the year. He makes every effort to be organised and ready for every school day. This learner always manages to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards anything and everything put in front of him.Whether on the sports field or in the water polo pool, he displays the same attitude as he would with anything else in his school life. He shows respect and enjoys every second spent in the pool and on the field with his team mates and coaches. He has maintained a dedicated attitude towards being at training and games which shows that he is a true team player. With his busy academic and sporting schedule, this fine young gentleman manages to play the clarinet. He has represented the school in various concerts as well. Lastly, your Grade 5 all-rounder is an active member of the Early Act Club. This service pillar of the school allows boys the opportunity to demonstrate their goodwill and care for others.
